Specialists in occupational health

Within the framework of this training direction, specialists from among the management, engineering and rank-and-file personnel of enterprises are trained. Heads of labor protection and safety departments of industrial and transport enterprises undergo in-depth training.

Within the framework of this direction, the following basic training programs are being implemented, on the basis of which exclusive programs are developed that take into account the specifics of enterprises:

In the courses, students study the main provisions of international and national regulatory documents and standards, including the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code), the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways (ADN), the IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Practice on Stowage of Goods in Cargo Transport Units (CTU Code), International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS 74), International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL 73/78), International Convention for Safe Containers (CSC), ILO Convention № 186 " Maritime Labor Convention", ILO Convention № 152 "Occupational Safety and Health in Port Works", IMO Resolution A.1050 (27) "Revised Recommendations for Entering Enclosed Spaces Aboard Ships", the Federal Law dated July 21, 1997 № 116-ФЗ "On the industrial safety of hazardous production facilities", GOST R ISO 45001-2020 "Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Guidance for use", GOST R ISO 16017-1-2007 “Indoor, ambient and workplace air – Sampling and analysis of volatile organic compounds by sorbent tube/thermal desorption/capillary gas chromatography”, Rules of Labor Protection in Sea and River Ports approved by the Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia dated June 15, 2020 № 343н, Rules of Labor Protection when working in confined and enclosed spaces, approved by the order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia № 902н dated December 15, 2020, as well as the rules determined by the letter of Rostrud dated January 15, 2021 № 57-ТЗ.

Candidates for training must have a higher or secondary specialized education, or at the time of training they must be trained in programs of higher or secondary specialized education. Upon completion of training, course graduates who have successfully passed the exam receive certificates of advanced training of the established form. The validity period of the expert certificate is 5 years.
