Requirements for the transportation of dangerous goods in packing and for the production of packing (24 academic hours)
The course is intended for the working personnel of packing manufacturing plants, packing distribution companies and transport companies. Course graduates acquire the knowledge necessary to form a clear understanding of the requirements for the production of packing used in the transportation of dangerous goods, as well as for its testing.
- Classification of dangerous goods;
- Danger signs;
- Warning marking of chemical products;
- Requirements for the manufacture and testing of packing (drums, canisters, boxes, bags, composite packing);
- Requirements for the manufacture and testing of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs);
- Requirements for the manufacture and testing of containers for bulk cargo;
- Requirements for the manufacture and testing of containers for bulk cargo;
- General requirements for testing and certification of means of containing dangerous goods. Marking of certified means of containing.
- Packing instructions (packing, IBCs and large packing);
- Instructions for portable tanks;
- Cargo transport units. Requirements for the packing and securing of means of containing dangerous goods in high-capacity containers and other cargo transport units;
- Features of the transportation of dangerous goods by various modes of transport
Course participants who successfully pass the final exam are presented for certification at the International Dangerous Goods and Containers Association, after which they receive international qualification certificates.
